What counts as a handled call?
A handled call is a connected call where your receptionist speaks with the caller for 15 seconds or more. Spam, robocalls, wrong numbers and quick hang-ups never count.
Calls your team picks up never reach Infold, so they never count. You choose when calls forward: after hours, when you’re busy, or always — see overflow answering and after-hours answering.
Counts
- A caller books, changes or cancels
- A question answered from information you approved
- A message taken for your team
- An urgent call sent to your on-call person
Never counts
- Spam and robocalls
- Wrong numbers
- Quick hang-ups, under 15 seconds
- Calls your team answers first
How many is 100? About 23 a week, or 3 to 4 a day.

How do extra calls work?
Your plan includes 100 handled calls a month. Past that, extra calls are C$4.99 each, plus tax. We alert you at 80 and 100 calls, and we never charge more than C$499 of extra calls in a month without your OK.
Example: a 130-call month adds 30 × C$4.99 = C$149.70 + tax. Your plan price doesn’t change.
Busy season coming? Forward only after-hours and busy-line calls to Infold, and the calls your team answers stay off the count.
How does Infold compare with a receptionist, an answering service or voicemail?
Infold covers the calls your team can’t get to — after hours, on busy lines and mid-appointment — for one monthly price that doesn’t change with call length. A receptionist covers their shift, an answering service usually bills by the minute or call, and voicemail books nothing.

When another option is the better fit
- Hire a receptionist
- when you need someone in the room — greeting walk-ins, taking payments, handling paperwork. Infold covers the phone when they’re busy, at lunch and after they’ve gone home.
- Keep voicemail
- when new customers rarely call after hours. The calculator below shows what your missed calls are worth.
- Use an answering service
- when you want a person on every call and mostly need messages taken.

What are your missed calls worth?
Put in your own numbers. The recovery rate is yours to set — your first month measures the real one.
Work out what your missed calls are worth
Estimated revenue each month
C$1,871
6.2 new bookings from calls that would have gone unanswered
About C$748 a month in profit at these numbers — roughly 1.1× the plan’s monthly cost on annual billing.
How this is calculated
Missed calls per week × 4.33 weeks × share that are new business × recovery rate = new bookings per month. Bookings × average value = estimated revenue. Revenue × your margin = estimated profit, which is what’s compared with the plan’s monthly cost. It’s an estimate from your numbers, not a promise; existing-customer calls and repeat visits aren’t counted.
The comparison uses the annual plan: C$699/month, billed yearly (C$8,388 + tax), setup included. On the monthly plan it’s C$999/month, setup included, no contract.
What does setup include?
Setup is us building your receptionist with you — included on both plans. You don’t configure anything yourself.
- Day 1
A 30-minute setup call
Your hours, services, the prices you quote, your booking rules and who gets urgent calls.
- Days 1–2

Billing questions, answered
Are taxes included in Infold’s prices?
No. Prices are in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes: GST/HST, and PST or QST where they apply. Tax is based on your business’s province and shown before you pay.
Is there a contract?
Not on the monthly plan — it runs month to month and you can cancel anytime. The annual plan is billed once a year (C$8,388 plus tax) in exchange for a lower monthly price: C$699 instead of C$999.
How do I cancel?
Email hi@infold.ai. On the monthly plan, service runs to the end of the month you’ve paid for. Your phone number never moves to Infold, so switching off call forwarding sends calls straight back to your phone.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Setup is included on both plans. It covers building your receptionist with you: a 30-minute setup call, your greeting and approved answers, your booking and urgent-call rules, connecting your calendar, and test calls until it handles your hardest ones.

What happens if I go over 100 handled calls in a month?
Extra calls are C$4.99 each, plus tax. We alert you at 80 and 100 calls, and we never charge more than C$499 of extra calls in a month without your OK.
Is there a free trial?
Instead of a trial, you test your receptionist yourself before it answers a single customer — call it, try to trip it up, and we tune it. After go-live, the 30-day money-back guarantee applies.
Do you have pricing for several locations or a call centre?
Yes. Multi-location businesses, call centres and custom builds are quoted to fit: shared or per-location receptionists, call-centre overflow, Canada-only processing, on-premise or your-cloud deployment, privately trained models. See custom and enterprise options.
