1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between [Legal entity name — to be confirmed] (“Infold”, “we”, “us”) and the business that signs up for Infold (“you”). They apply to infold.ai and the Infold managed AI receptionist service.

Infold is a service for businesses. By ordering, you confirm that you’re acting for a business and have the authority to accept these terms for it. An order form or written agreement signed by both of us takes priority over these terms where they differ.

2. The service

Infold provides a managed AI receptionist: we build it for your business, connect it to your tools where we can, and keep tuning it. The plan includes:

  • Built for your business: greeting, services, prices you approve, your rules
  • Answers after hours, on busy lines and when the front desk is with someone
  • Books, changes and cancels in your calendar where it’s connected
  • Texts confirmations to callers and alerts you about urgent calls
  • Transfers to your team when a person is needed
  • Morning summary and call reporting
  • Spam, robocalls and quick hang-ups never count toward your calls
  • Hosted in Canada by default
  • Ongoing tuning: we review calls and keep improving it

Integrations. Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Open Dental, Shopmonkey, HubSpot connect today. Other systems are connected during setup, where they allow it. Third-party product names are trademarks of their owners and don’t imply a partnership.

What Infold isn’t. Infold isn’t an emergency service and doesn’t replace 911. It doesn’t give clinical, legal, financial or other professional advice. For health and legal businesses it does intake only.

3. Setup and go-live

Setup starts with a 30-minute call about your hours, services, prices, booking rules and who handles urgent calls. We build your receptionist, you test it, and you approve the greeting, answers and rules before it takes real calls. We aim to have you live within 2 business days once we have access and your approvals.

Your go-live date is the day your calls first forward to Infold [definition to be confirmed]. The guarantee period in section 5 is counted from it.

4. Plans, prices and billing

ItemPrice and conditions
Annual plan C$699/month, billed yearly (C$8,388 + tax), setup included. Billed once a year, in advance.
Monthly plan C$999/month, setup included, no contract. Billed monthly, in advance.
Calls included 100 handled calls a month on either plan. [Whether unused calls roll over — to be confirmed]
Extra calls C$4.99 per call above the included calls, billed [monthly in arrears]. We alert you at 80 and 100 calls, and we never charge more than C$499 of extra calls in a month without your OK.
Handled call A handled call is a connected call where your receptionist speaks with the caller for 15 seconds or more. Spam, robocalls, wrong numbers and quick hang-ups never count.
Taxes Prices in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes.

Payment is by [card through our payment processor — to be confirmed]. If a payment fails, we’ll tell you and try again; if it’s still unpaid after [X days], we may pause the service until it’s paid. We’ll give you at least [30 days’] notice of any price change, and it won’t apply to an annual term you’ve already paid for.

5. 30-day money-back guarantee

If Infold isn’t right for your business, email us within 30 days of your go-live date and we’ll refund everything you’ve paid — setup and extra calls included. One guarantee per business.
  • Window: 30 days, counted from your go-live date.
  • What’s refunded: everything you’ve paid us for the service — setup and extra calls included.
  • How to ask: email hi@infold.ai within the window. No form, no exit interview.
  • When: refunded to your original payment method within [X business days].
  • Limit: one guarantee per business.
  • Custom and enterprise work: [whether the guarantee applies to work quoted separately — to be confirmed]

After a refund, the service ends and your data is handled as described in section 10.

6. Cancellation and renewal

Monthly plan. No contract: you can cancel at any time by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you’ve paid for [to be confirmed], and you won’t be charged again.

Annual plan. A 12-month term, paid yearly in advance. [Renewal: whether it renews automatically, and the notice needed to stop renewal — to be confirmed.] Apart from the guarantee in section 5, the unused part of an annual term isn’t refunded [to be confirmed].

7. Your responsibilities

  • Give us accurate information — hours, services, prices and rules — and tell us when it changes.
  • Review and approve your greeting, answers and rules before go-live and after changes.
  • Make sure you have the right to connect the calendars and systems you ask us to connect.
  • Give your callers the notices your own privacy obligations require, and collect only the information your intake really needs.
  • Have someone available for the transfers and urgent alerts you set up, and review your summaries.
  • Set up call forwarding with your phone provider (we walk you through it).

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Infold to:

  • break the law, mislead callers, or harass or discriminate against anyone;
  • remove or change the AI disclosure, or present the receptionist as a human;
  • make unsolicited marketing calls or texts, or send messages without the consent Canadian anti-spam and telemarketing rules require;
  • collect sensitive information your service doesn’t need [e.g. full payment card numbers or Social Insurance Numbers — list to be confirmed];
  • give clinical, legal or other professional advice to callers;
  • copy, reverse-engineer, overload or security-test the service without our written permission, or resell it without an agreement.

9. AI disclosure and limits

Every greeting tells callers they’re speaking with your AI assistant, and you agree to keep it that way. The receptionist answers only from information you approve and takes a message when it isn’t sure — but like any person or system, it can misunderstand. Please review summaries, and confirm anything critical with the caller.

10. Data and privacy

Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information. For call data, you’re responsible to your callers, and we act on your behalf and under your instructions [data processing agreement — to be attached].

Call data is stored in Canada by default. Canada-only processing, end to end, is available as a custom option. When your service ends, we’ll return or delete your data within [X days], except what the law requires us to keep.

11. Third-party services

Infold relies on third parties such as telephone carriers and the calendars and systems you connect. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we aren’t responsible for their outages or changes — but we’ll tell you when one affects your receptionist and work around it where we can.

12. Availability, support and changes

We work to keep Infold available and to fix problems quickly, but we can’t promise uninterrupted service. [Service levels and support hours — to be defined.] We’ll give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We may improve or change features; we won’t materially reduce the core service during a term you’ve paid for.

13. Custom and enterprise work

Multi-location setups, call-centre overflow, Canada-only processing, deployment in your own cloud or on your servers, and privately trained models are quoted separately. A signed order form for that work takes priority over these terms where they differ.

14. Ownership and confidentiality

Your content — greeting, scripts, rules, price lists and call data — stays yours. You let us use it only to provide and improve your service. The Infold platform, software and know-how stay ours. Each of us keeps the other’s confidential information confidential and uses it only for this agreement.

15. Warranties and limitation of liability

[Warranties, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity — to be drafted by counsel. Typical structure: total liability capped at the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim; no liability for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits; nothing limits liability that the law doesn’t allow to be limited.]

16. Suspension and termination

We may pause or end the service if payment is overdue after notice, if it’s used in breach of section 8, or if continuing would break the law. Where we can, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. Sections that by their nature should survive — such as payment, ownership, confidentiality and liability — survive termination.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of [TBD] and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. [Courts or dispute-resolution process — to be confirmed.]

18. Quebec customers and language

Where the Charter of the French Language applies, we’ll give you these terms in French first, and you can then choose expressly to be bound by the English version. [French version — to be prepared before selling in Quebec.]

19. Changes and contact

We’ll email you at least [30 days] before a material change to these terms takes effect. Questions about these terms: hi@infold.ai.
