Infold or Avoca: the short answer

Pick Avoca if you run a home-service company on ServiceTitan — or several brands or a call centre — and want AI answering, outbound campaigns, call scoring and analytics from one vendor, set up by its implementation team; it doesn’t publish prices. Pick Infold if you want a public price in Canadian dollars, a receptionist built and tuned around your own calendar and booking tools, every caller told up front they’re talking to an AI, and call data stored in Canada by default.

Fit, not features

Which one should you choose?

Both are good at different jobs. Start with the reasons Avoca may suit you better.

Choose Avoca if…

  • You run ServiceTitan and want booked jobs written straight onto your board, matched to existing customer records.
  • You want more than answering: outbound campaigns, speed-to-lead, Google Local Services Ads, call scoring and analytics from one vendor.
  • You need a vendor with a SOC 2 Type II report your team can review; Avoca’s trust centre offers one on request.
  • You run several brands or a call centre: Avoca supports multi-brand rollouts with per-brand setup, and hands calls to your CSRs with the full context.

What does Avoca do that Infold doesn’t?

Avoca covers more of the front office. Besides answering calls, texts and web chat, it runs outbound text-and-call campaigns, follows up new leads from every source, connects to Google Local Services Ads, and scores calls for coaching and analytics. Infold focuses on the phone: answering, booking where your calendar is connected, texting confirmations, transferring to your team, alerting you about urgent calls and sending a morning summary.

Which booking systems does each one work with?

Avoca is built around field-service software. It’s a ServiceTitan certified app that books jobs onto your board in real time and matches existing customers to avoid duplicate records, and its home page also shows Housecall Pro and FieldRoutes. Infold books, changes and cancels in Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Open Dental, Shopmonkey and HubSpot today; other systems are connected during setup. If your board lives in ServiceTitan, ask both companies to show a real booking on your own account.

Will callers know they’re talking to an AI?

With Avoca, it’s your decision: its FAQ says the choice “is entirely yours” and notes that many HVAC businesses pick a natural-sounding voice. Every Infold greeting says it’s your business’s AI assistant, and callers can still reach a person by your rules.

Where is call data stored, and what can you check?

Avoca doesn’t publish a hosting region. Its privacy policy says data “may be processed outside your country of residence”, and its trust centre offers SOC 2 Type I (2025) and Type II (2026) reports and a subprocessor list on request. Infold stores call data in Canada by default; live call steps — the phone line, speech, AI model and voice — use the providers on Infold’s subprocessor list (to be published before launch) unless you choose Canada-only processing, which keeps every step in Canada. Whoever you choose, ask where each part of a call runs: the phone line, speech recognition, the AI model and storage.

How do you find out what Avoca costs?

By booking a demo: Avoca doesn’t publish prices, setup fees or contract terms on its site. Infold’s prices are public. C$699/month billed yearly (C$8,388), or C$999/month with no contract. Setup is included. Both Infold plans include 100 handled calls a month; extra calls are C$4.99 each. Prices in CAD, plus applicable taxes.

Questions

Infold vs Avoca: common questions

How much does Avoca cost?

Avoca doesn’t publish prices on its website; its main next step is booking a demo. Infold’s prices are public: C$699/month billed yearly (C$8,388), or C$999/month with no contract. Setup is included. Both Infold plans include 100 handled calls a month; extra calls are C$4.99 each. Prices in CAD, plus applicable taxes.

Does Avoca work with Canadian businesses?

Avoca’s help centre says its business compliance form supports US and Canadian addresses. It doesn’t publish where call data is hosted, so ask before you sign. Infold stores call data in Canada by default.

Can Infold book into ServiceTitan?

ServiceTitan isn’t one of the systems Infold connects today — those are Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Open Dental, Shopmonkey and HubSpot. Other systems are connected during setup, so confirm yours on your demo. Where a system can’t be connected, Infold still takes the booking request and texts your team to confirm. If ServiceTitan runs your business, Avoca’s certified integration is a strong reason to choose it.

Is Avoca SOC 2 certified?

Avoca’s home page says it is SOC 2 certified, and its trust centre lists SOC 2 Type I (2025) and Type II (2026) reports, available on request. Infold makes no certification claims; it stores call data in Canada by default, with Canada-only processing available.

Does Avoca tell callers they’re talking to an AI?

It’s up to the business: Avoca’s FAQ says that decision “is entirely yours”. Infold always tells callers: every greeting says it’s your business’s AI assistant.
