Both are good at different jobs. Start with the reasons Mango Voice may suit you better.
With Mango, yes: Margo is part of Mango’s AI Suite, which includes its phone service, desk phones set up for its platform, and porting your numbers over — Mango says most practices are running within 30 days. With Infold, nothing about your phones changes. You forward the calls you want answered — after hours, when the front desk is busy, or always — and switch forwarding off any time.
Mango’s Margo page describes Margo collecting the caller’s details and preferred appointment so your team can confirm, then writing the call summary into the patient record in supported systems. Infold books straight into Open Dental, Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 where they’re connected, re-checking the slot as it books. Where a system can’t be connected, it holds the time and texts your team to confirm.
They cover different things. Mango’s AI Suite is $419 a month billed monthly ($399 billed yearly) for 1–3 phones, plus an implementation fee it doesn’t publish — and it replaces your phone service. Infold is C$699/mo billed yearly (C$8,388) or C$999/mo month-to-month for 100 handled calls a month, on top of the phone service you already have, with setup included. If you’d switch phone systems anyway, compare Mango with your current phone bill plus Infold.
Mango’s pages we checked don’t mention Canada; its pricing FAQ talks about forwarding calls to “any US number” during an internet outage. Ask Mango directly about Canadian numbers and where Margo’s call data is processed. Infold is built for Canadian businesses and hosts call data in Canada by default.
Keep your number and your phones. If Mango is your phone provider, you can keep it and point after-hours or busy-line forwarding at Infold instead of Margo — we check what your phone system supports on the setup call. If you’re leaving Mango entirely, ask your new provider to port your numbers before you cancel.
Live in 2 business days once we have access and your approvals. You keep your number the whole time.

Mango’s Margo page describes collecting the caller’s details and preferred appointment so your team can confirm, and writing the call summary into the patient record in supported practice systems. It doesn’t say Margo books into the schedule itself.
Usually, yes — Infold answers calls forwarded from your existing phone system. We confirm what your system’s forwarding supports on the 30-minute setup call before anything changes.
No. It books, answers the practical questions you approve and follows your emergency rules — pain, swelling or trauma can be booked first available or sent to the dentist on call. Anything clinical goes to your team.
